Papered Gadgets

Papered Gadgets

A Poem by Rc R. Vagilidad
"

- for Steve Jobs

"
Who would have thought

 - paper was neither an apple
     nor a blackberry.

But you can't live without it.
Insignificant.
Let's not talk about paper.
It's all there, it's poetic.
Then why?
Before even the quasi-religious apple was eaten
by Adam and Eve, paper wasn't discovered.
Who cares?
Steve?
Newton?
Before even Apple was discovered
it was etched - no one knows where
it started!
Cafeteria, college dormitory,
library, classroom, under the tree?
Inspiration is a scratch in the head.

No one knows who will
start to scratch

a notion.....

That all classifieds are written.
Fear of hack.
So did anyone find the
President Book of Secrets.

Or it just became legend.
Lady GaGa still sings with lyrics on
paper, by the way.

All I know is watching a show about Steve Jobs and he lived in the Woodstock days as hippie. Jobs may have been a hippie but obviously was a pure genius to create something most of us are using today. I used to say bad things about Apple --- then I got an ipad2. Great tribute to a smart man.

The unique arrangement of works is like a delicious feast only for my eyes. ^^* That sounds a bit weird but your poem is genius.

it's not about the power of paper but the power of connection created without the loss of shuffle through paper...access to knowledge, people and making the world a smaller place...it's not what we are on paper - it's what we do to create something untangible (power) thru connection to people, knowledge and processes...
