beware the elephant

beware the elephant

A Poem by chloe cruz
"

republic of horrors.

"
Living in a blind society,
Surviving in a deaf culture;
Our starving souls crave notoriety,
While the corporations circle us like a vulture

Arrested ideas, lingering on your soul
Possessing the diverse light of life inside,
Outside we choose not to console,
So deep inside ourselves we hide.

Self expression, affecting the world at large
An avalanche of emotions long hindered by oppression
Vibes unveiled, sensations of satisfaction recharged
Unfolding again the awareness of our shrouded reality

Transcending what we believe to be ails and woes,
We open up our consciousness, and bloom like a rose.

This is very deep it covers a lot of ground. One has to have had such experiences to know about them like this. Loved it.
