Ode To My Third Eye

Ode To My Third Eye

A Poem by Robert
"

what do think? :)

"
you awake me in my time of sorrow
you open and show me my life
you dont ask or steal or leave or borrow
you live to serve my need of strife

Alone i trip with my eyes wide open
Alone i sit with my arm held thin
Alone you open an all the sudden
Alone you see what time has forgotten

All i see now is the truth
All i see now is the reality
All i see now is the ruthlessness
Of my life and the dreams serenity

You're my love, my hate, my guidence
You're my escape, my freedom, my lover
You're my joy, my cape, my silence
You're my open, my wide, my cove

You protect me, shield me, hate me
You respect, save, and break me
You inspect, help me, guide me
You thank, please, and rape me

Now you shut, my world is gone
Now you close, my life was long
Now you shut, my world is done
Now you close my life was strong

Ah, those bittersweet tales of love and the loss of it...This is very beautiful and sad!Your emotions are very clear. Every line is heartfelt and personal. I felt a deep connection to this, though I have not actually felt the feelings you express in this poem. It flows like a river, and kept me interested until the end...of course then I had to re-read it because I wasn't satisfied with reading it just once. I have nothing bad to say about this one.
I must admit I'm not the best of reviewers. :p But this is wonderful!
