The Jazz man plays

His blues

Upon the stage

Of life

As saxophone notes

Melodically dance

Across pen stroked

Crinkled paper

 

Each note representing

A letter

Captivating the soul

Silently spiraling

In different directions

Of life

 

The mournful melodies

Sing freely

Within a Poetic soul

Feeling deeply

Sometimes emotions

Play havoc

Replaying forgotten cords

Life not always in tune.
