Dream Of Lies

Dream Of Lies

A Poem by Poetic Beauty

Entering in the darkness of night
I feel your strong arms
Wrap around me tight

Pulling me closer to you
I feel your breath on my neck
Snuggling in is what I do

Relaxing in your arms
I feel safe and warm
With no sounds or alarm

Slowly, I blink my eyes
Feeling melancholy and lost
For my dream once again told me lies

Dreams leave us hoping and wishing. The description and flow of words made poem strong and with a purpose. The bad part about dreaming we must awake. A excellent poem.

Wow! A big surprise at the end for sure. Very nice! Descriptive and very picturesque. Gives a comfy feeling and then really hits you in the gut on the last line.
... Then leaves you with a bit of a feeling of sadness. Great job.

I like this one a lot! You feel like you are there, and then...poof...it's gone. Cool how the dream "once again" has told lies. Nice way to finish it off. This is perfect. Lines flow without any effort.
