Covert MissionA Poem by Poetic BeautyHAHA one day this might really happenSoaring on the
feathered Wings of the onyx
night Gliding towards the Orb glittered horizon Aboard a red-eyed
flight
A heart pounds With dangerous
excitement As the covert mission Is stealthy set in
motion
Each mile closer The heart pulses With overtaking vigor As the destination Quickly approaches
The mind reeling With a typhoon of Emotions That comes crashing Upon the soul
Destination complete But the object not yet
Met As feet embark On unfamiliar land
The pavement wet From a recent rain Glistens with
reflection Of secrets not yet
told
Each place he has been One of his familiar Haunts A note has been place Telling it all
To walk where he Has walked And stood in places He calls his second
home Releases a flood of Jubilation
Tattooed and
dreamy-eyed Another flight shall Soon be boarded With hesitation At not having the
nerve To let him know That I had entered His city Leaving only Whimsical note Pouring of the soul In the aftermath Of this mission.
