Her Natural Mind

Her Natural Mind

A Poem by Kristine

The bright blue sky

quickly turns grey

and the black clouds come in;

here to stay.

A darkened picture

begins to mist.

The ground is met,

with raindrops, it's kissed.

All of the sudden

it begins to pour;

a thunderstorms created

along the sandy shore.

The girl that paints

this glistening picture,

tears it to shreds,

for it begins to hit her.

She is not painting

what she thinks she sees outside.

She is painting all her feelings

that are kept deep down inside.

I really really like this poem. I know how it feels, but I use a different medium to paint what's deep inside. Congratulations, you have made it into the first cut of finalists for my Imagery contest.

That's great.
I like the twist at the end.
Have fun. :)
