Wind kisses

Wind kisses

A Poem by Emily Dickinson Jr.
"

about innocent girl wanting 2 feel wind against her she coudn't resist, it her father warned her it was dangerous, she finds out why

"

Rushing wind in my face

Steals the feeling leaves no trace

Can you see?

I'll never know

Why my papi tells me no

It feels so good

I lean out

I catch the wind!

Im real proud

My eyes do twinkle

Im in pure bliss

I feel a shock

I am kissed

I look into the eyes

And what do I see?

But sneering, snarling

Death's skull head

Looking eyeless

Lipless, skinless

Back at me

And he simply says

"Okaeri"

glad you liked it! yeah, iv been told some of my work has a bit of a darker tone.
There is an actual sense of falling in this piece, which is quite palpable and real. I like the form, and the feeling behind it; lots of good imagery and "food for thought". The second to last stanza is a little off to me for some reason, sort of this big build up and then suddenly it's finished, but I do love the last two lines. Nicely done.

Oh yes is the parent being over protective or do they know best... when something feels liberating and fun it is not always easy to see where it will lead.

ooo I really enjoyed this! This is so creative! I love feeling the wind on my face and at times feel it is just as alive as you and me, so this really fascinated me! :) Your rhyming scheme was really fun as well.

Wow. This was really good. I wasn't expecting the ending at all...did she die? The ending was a bit confuzzling, but this is still very good.
If she did die, I love how the mood totally shifts from light and airy to dark.
Great write&keep it up :)
