Issac Neuton

Issac Neuton

A Poem by Emily Dickinson Jr.
"

A poem about Isaac Neuton

"

Newty, Newty

Clonk on conk

Motions made you clumsy

Tick, tock

Distance

Go together

Watch that marble roll

Drop an apple

Drop a feather

One day help

Predict the weather

Newty, Newty

In a book

Students, Students

Look, Look, Look

He made some laws

Because his noggin

Shook

This is a very light-hearted poem and it is a refresher from the normal gloom and doom poetry rhymes that I write and many others try to imitate.....Thank-you.....

What a fun piece! I like all the sound effects, it really gave the poem a life and movement of it's own. Great job!

Im glad you liked it!!! :-)
Dr. Seuss-like. From that perspective I like it, although the tone seems to trivialize Newton. I'd say if you're going to criticize such a genius, I'd go after the fact that he was a functionary on a council that worked for the Inquisition, mixing something serious and disturbing in with a child-like perspective could come off really good.
