THE TWO SIDES OF A COIN

A Story by Prateeksha Khot

Good waited patiently. Anytime soon ..... He had remained silent too long to avoid ugly confrontations with Bad. But the line had been crossed. As the hands of the ugly clock struck twelve, Bad collapsed into the room, his condition worse than pitiable . ( 38 )

 " Good, I never thought ........( 4 )

" Never instigate good. Because if he loses his goodness, the aftermath wouldn't just be bad but downright ugly. " ( 17 )

Author's Note

Prateeksha Khot
This short story was written for the GBU BIZZARO competition. It has not turned out as well as I would have liked it to . But the no of words was a bit of a constraint.

Plz not : Counting of words does not include articles. Atleast that is what our English Professor told us.

This is really interesting to read. Made think like crazy. I think though if you added ambiguity to the story it would have a much deeper meaning. I think pronouns such as he, take away from it in that sense. But other than that, it's really excellent.

I like this. It's much deeper than it looks, but man, way to get the point across.
