RIP Girl gang raped in India..

RIP Girl gang raped in India..

A Poem by Prathama Panigrahi
"

Girl was gang raped in India by bus drivers, she has been fighting for her life since past one week and now she is dead. Ashamed that Indian politicians spare so little towards the safety of girls.

"
With utter shame
I now proclaim that the victim
Of the gang rape;
That happened on the 16th of December 2012
In New Delhi (The Capital City of India)
Is DEAD.

A gang of bus drivers
Let her board a bus along with her boy friend
She was returning having watched a movie
And resorted to the safety of public transport.
Later the boy was injured severely
Thrown out of the bus
Then the gang of inhuman creeps
Tortured the girl
With violence so unkind
One after another they satisfied their libido
Wounded her internal parts beyond cure.

Trauma of a life time
The girl fought for a week
As she lay on her death bed
With humiliation and injury
Stood by her, her Father
Whose wrath and fury I can only imagine
Stood by her, her Brother
Whose frustration would have heightened
With her each and every failing breath
And of that Mother, who gave birth to her
Her worst nightmares
Was coming true.

My condolences with the family
Of that brave heart,
Of that innocent girl
Who has fallen prey to some
Rather inhuman desperate evil monsters.
They are mere disgrace in the name of humanity
And;
Let them rot for a life time
Let they be burnt alive in front of their mothers
So that they can feel the pain of even
Giving birth to such horrible ones.

Brave girl let you rest in peace
I apologize to you on behalf of the inhuman men of my country.

Disgusting. I've always though of India as a peaceful place. I guess scumbags are everywhere. It' just goes to show you that no matter how far we advance as a race, there's always be someone there to f**k it up and send us back a few centuries. I respect your tribute, but I'm disgusted by the act that caused it. :(

I have a friend I have known for a long time lives in India wow the pictures he shows me can haunt a mind forever. I seen pictures of men standing on a little baby in the streets?????? I said Manda what and why? He says when a child is sick they will take it to the streets and kill what is left. It is very messed up. Your write was very profound yet sad.

That was undoubtedly the best/saddest poem I have read in this site till now and I know it is sad but justice has prevailed now and those suckers would rot in hell.

Striking commentary on a tragic event. Sadly, not a sole incident.

the crime was henious.... and still continues in different forms and degree ..... the ugly truth is the victim is still looked down upon in this subcontinent but now the change is slowly coming.....
liked your write, the thought....
though one thing to which i disagree is punishing the parents/family of perpetrators of crime as most of them are not party to it even mentally.....

There are no words that can comfort nor give understanding of why people can be so evil and we as a civilized society, what’s our solution to this sad and cruel tragedy has no resolve other than justice and justice must prevail and those responsible should be brought to pay with an eye for an eye for this inhuman act.
. My Heart and Prayer goes out to the Family and may God be with you..

Mauricio.
