Peter Pan and Tinker Bell! (Tinkerbell)

Peter Pan and Tinker Bell! (Tinkerbell)

A Poem by PP
"

Written purely for laugh!

"

I am Tinker Bell or Tink as you call me,

I was meant to be fixing pots and pans,

In a far fairy land

That is where you found me.

Dusty and Muddy

You came up to me

You understood my lingo of tinkering bells

And asked me "Hi I am Peter Pan;

I live in Neverland

Tink would you like to come with me?"

I said yes

With no hesitance

Then we flew to Neverland

That is when you told me

That you shall never grow up,

I met the Lost Boys, we became mates

You then asked me "Tink will you stick to me for a while,

Fly around me

Talk to me with your tinkling verbs

Be Peter's Tink?"

I was so excited, so pleased

"This is the place to be"-I said to myself

Neverland- From here I shall never leave.

But then came Wendy

You found her in London or somewhere

When you were peeping under someone’s chimney!

You thought she was very cool

Just because she could tell 'stories'.

You brought her along

To Neverland-Which you should have never done

Shame and Pity!

I am Tinker Bell

And I am not Tink anymore

You say you don't understand my weird speech

Anymore

I am Tinker Bell

I feel only one thing at a time

I am ill-tempered, spoiled and a very jealous little thing;

You've changed Peter;

You care no more L

All I am here for;

Is to run around to fetch you things

Little errands all the time

Listen to the stories of You and Wendy?

It is time you grow up, Peter!

And stop bossing me about

Because, I tell you what;

I am a fairly you should know

I'll make your skin go wrinkly

Limbs grow old

I will cast the wicked fairy spell

And make you grow old

You won't be "Peter Pan- The kid that never grows old", anymore!!

That is an interesting take on the classic but you make a good point, there is a difference between a boy and a man and there is a difference between growing older and growing up... and when those boys grow old physically there charms will grow old leaving them lonely. I enjoyed your twist on the story.

Thank you Dale, glad you enjoyed this one:)
Remind me never to ask you to baby-sit for the minions!! Hahha, this is like the avant garde version from a liberated woman sick of men/boys that never grow up! Great stuff. ;-)
