Jazz and Blues!

Jazz and Blues!

A Poem by PP

Jazz in her eyes
Oh so much blues
In the spillage of her majestic looks,
She will take you by surprise
If you happen to meet
her in the streets of Moulin Rouge..
She smells as sweet as an unopened 'cordial',
And she dresses ravishingly luxurious..
Sweetest vine of uncomplicated tangles -
weave her hair of mystery maze..!
When she smiles,
Oh the sun shines
deep inside the hearts of those who she messes!
In her private limousine,
painted black and white like zebra stripes..
She inspects those posh streets
with her diamond coated high heels,
Viewers swing to the left
and then they swing to their right
Swing everywhere to please their wanting eyes..
for a glimpse of this heroin.
Her shadows they worship,
Offer their hearts in divine sacrifice..
She gently taps the corner of her expensive glass
that holds delicate bubbles of champagne so sweet,
she flashes her crystal of azure blue,
She wears it as a symbol of association
                                                 ...with a rich man
            and of love so untrue!!

Myriad of emotions between the lines - the poem captures the heart-beat turning it into a long song (within).
Enjoyed the poem, dear Prathama. Cheers

Love, true nor not, without $$$ nothing will taste sweet, last long... and that is the stark reality..

I enjoyed this read very much ~hugs~

A amazing story.
"Jazz in her eyes

Many find comfort in money and selfish things. One day. They learn they everything away for no reason. I like the poem. Open the door to thoughts and conversation. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

A beautiful and tender carousel of images. Always a pleasure - although I'm not sure if you misspelt 'heroin' or not. (Should be heroine) ;)

Money can make even the kindest of hearts more shallow than a puddle of water. Very well written, I could see the whole thing play out in my head.

god, this is startling in its imagery, rhyme scheme...

ah the rich girl so poor in love...she glitters thinking she has everything...
but she is missing the most important...

and we would not want to trade places.

Brilliant imagery here, I could see that zebra limo and her clashing flash. She's not really a mystery, is she, we all know one of those. Nice to see you back, you made a big splash with your return, as only you can do Tink!
