Run Like Hell

Run Like Hell

This life ...

Recurring nightmares.
Shadows of the past.
Spent dreams.
Nocturnal emissions.
Petulant, paranoid parties.
Dazed stupors and tantric trances.
Golden parachutes sporting defective ripcords.
Tears on pillows.
Eulogized.

Journeys of the mind and spirit.
Cathartic junkets and eucalyptus wind sprints.
Forced marches and jagged jaunts.
Racing rebellions.
Unreachable finish lines.
Tossing, turning and tripping.
Gasping and wheezing.
Pounding and perspiring.

Wearying.
Relentless.
Inescapable.
Chased by the Devil.
Hot pursuit.
Pressured and squeezed.
Fleeing from the
sick,
twisted,
vicious,
macabre
game of ...
... balls in a vice ...

We can check out of this life any time we like but we can never leave Pete.
The sense of panic. dread, hoplessness is well communicated - and that bloody image is awesome too.
