Psychotic Depression

Psychotic Depression

A Poem by Pumpkin Girl
"

I made this poem to show what it's like to live with Psychotic depression because there are a lot of people who don't understand that having Psychotic Depression is dangerous for that person.

"
My thoughts suffocating me
They aren't mine anymore
Silently dying
They won't go away
Hallucinations are making me crazy
The monster is taking control
Memories flooding back
Red is all I can see
You can't help me
Not ever...
They won't disappear
I'm sorry...
Thoughts and hallucinations consumed my being
My soul faded along with the rest
Cut the ear
No longer can hear
They disappear
But they are still there
...
I can see them
Making me crazy
Gouge the eyes out
Make it all better
Now they are gone
...
Monsters are still there
Crawl in my dreams
Hear the pain
See my mistakes
Kill the mind
...
I'm set free

Thank you!
"the monster is taking control" ...I can feel the intense struggle and pain.
"crawl in my dreams hear the pain" ... These two lines are my favorite. Very well written and understood. The message in your words are very powerful indeed. Well done!
