Hello Child

Hello Child

A Poem by Kayleen

 Hello child

Do you know me?

Do you recognize who I've become?

I am unfamiliar to you, Child.

Dont you know me yet?

You will know me soon.

You see like me.

Security is running away from you, Girl.

Innocence trailing just behind

Dont you know me?

You feel like me.

Is that your heart breaking, little one?

a sound so silent amidst the turmoil and screams

Do you recognize me yet?

You react like me.

Violent child, why do you strike your friends?

are you afraid that if you love them

they will leave?

it has happened before.

it will happen again.

Don't you recognize us yet?

I am quite impressed with your poem. It's powerful
and full of emotion. It almost seems tragic in
a way, like there is no way to stop the
painful conclusion. I think it's a very
well written poem as well.

Wow! That sounds strangely like some people I know. Very great portrait of a teenage turmoil. Excellent job :)

Its a sad poem. Fisherman fish from the hearts of artists; here one day, gone tomorrow, they feed on the release of love, pain and sorrow.
Its a harsh game, one i chose carefully how I play and when I react.
Nice write.
