A LIFE DIVORCE

It was all inside my head, the toxic thoughts which hindered -
my soul exhausted, my physical form was noticeably withered
the curse of insecurity, uncertainty, and a life in disarray
my strength begins to dissipate, the mind misbehaves
time to disconnect but life has rendered me to work without a break
without rest - and even so, no amount of sleep can help alleviate
the burden that is carried into each day,
as the mind boggles but no words are conveyed
isolated to myself and the toxic thoughts
grudges and remorse, this is my end - a life divorce
