Ode to the Homos.

In respect to the recent suicides.

 

Bright streaking across a pale grey sky.

You are the Rainbows.

When the sky weeps its tears of sorrow,

You are there showing it that there is hope.

Beautiful, with your prism of colors, we all stop to look.

 

But they hate you.

They hate you for what you are,

Ugly faces rearing ugly signs

“God Hates F**s!”

They see themselves in your reflection and are reminded of their sadness.

They cry out, yet you still appear.

Your glowing beams of light pierce through the darkness.

 

Lately there has been a drought,

Your light has been dimmed.

Six of you have been lost.

Asher Brown and Billy Lucas.

The harsh rays of sun have robbed you of your radiance.

Stolen your light, your colors, so that you faded to nothing.

 

Don’t let them have your spirit.

All they want is to see you fade away,

Show them that you are a force of nature,

That you will not just disappear.

Your light will always shine through.

Like love, like rainbows after the storm.

Oh, wow... I loved this so much, It's sad but so is the hate of homosexuals! It speaks so true with so much emotion.
