Love to its Seasons

Love to its Seasons

A Poem by Rache David
"

This is a two-perspective sonnet poem. The girl's confession (first) and the boy's response (second); depicting their genuine thoughts and feelings.

"

I.                    (The girl)

Season of love began to hum the psalm

Bud of feelings and love bloom in my heart.

Frees the leaves from winter’s flakes through my palm,

As spring smears it with pink like art.

To draw three magical words, out my lips

As their mine, dwelling in my soul within.

Rosy Red! Passionate shade greets and peeps.

High cheeks match the hue of the leaves, is keen.

Throb. Throb. My heart continues to avow.

From my sight to his, meet point together.

Cross the line of infinity, asks how?

If, as my words resonate to ether,

My sweet, heart’s bud falls to abyss of hell.

This girl’s oath -- “I love you”"what did he tell?

II.                    (The boy)

“My love can’t open to you, I repent”

Remorseful reply that I tossed to her.

Like trees throw its leaves, on the road they went.

From spring to fall, so heart gets bitter,

When the under-breath response rings like roar.

I love to avow true words from my depth,

Yet these lines are thwarted and block in core.

The voice is not me; that’s my dismay’s wraith.

It moves the lips to tune of fallacy.

If passion bleeds out, draining my soul.

And so cravenness seized and coiled on me.

How can I say those lines or her name to call?

I’m that girl’s bud, but I belied the fact,

“What’s in my heart?” " She " and it’s not an act.

This is about feelings and thoughts of two different perspectives. Trying to convey the former, through their own words from their heart's depth.
