Christmas Slaughter

Christmas Slaughter

A Poem by SilentSKY
"

Hehe ^_^ I had lots of fun writing this..... >:D

"
A family of four
Were struck down in horror
With no one to hear their screams.
But don't let me spoil
The tale of the toil
Of the Red Man in Mary's dreams.

Twas Christmas Eve-
The halls decked with holly;
No tear or frown in sight;
Only laughter and cheer
With no one else near
But the family of four
At night.

Singing songs
Around the tree
Put spirits up high;
Apple cider and beer
Sloshed around mighty high.

But little Mary had fallen asleep
On the big blue couch next to the tree;
And she began to shiver and shake
Unable to wake
From her nightmare of living Hell.

A dead man came for her,
Holding a mighty ax;
Ready to kill,
Ready to murder,
The family of four at night.

The Red Man's face
Was mottled and thrashed;
Scars running cheek to cheek;
No eyes were found,
His mouth was a hole
For all souls
To be sucked into
And die.

Young little Mary
Screamed and ran
For the door of the mortal world;
But alas, too late!
The Red Man grabbed her neck
And chopped it off great.

Mary's body squirmed
For a second or two,
Blood squirting everywhere.
But the Red Man just laughed
And held up her head,
Ready to find his next victim.

The Red Man walked through the door
Entering the world of the living;
Leaving Mary's mind
And her head behind,
He jumped from her body
With grace.

The family of four (now three) looked up,
Shock on their small little faces;
Little Billy ran up
The stairs with no trust
But the Red Man just chopped off his legs.

The Red Man looked deadly at the father,
Though the Red Man had no eyes;
He took out his knife,
And laughed with delight
As he slit the poor father's throat with no mercy.

Now the mother was left,
Poor, poor mother was white with pain,
As the Red Man came down upon her
And thrust down his weight
Killing her with a final
MUSH.

So the Red Man smiled
A toothy grin;
Scars dancing across his face.
He looked down and laughed
At the bodies around him
The family of four
Now dead.

WOW! For some reason, I love that you took such a joyous season and holiday and turned it around into a horror story. This piece was very captivating! I wanted to read more. It reminded me of the Nightmare On Elm Street...the Freddy Kruger movies. haha...great poem! :)

No Sugar Coating
This is a great story.It is not a poem.There are stories that read like poems and poems that tell a story.This does not rhym consistently and it does not flow to a count like a poem.I think you should take this wonderfully scary story and change te catagory to story and then restructure it into paragraphs.
Remember this is no sugar coating and what I think doesn't mean much anyways

One word: Genius. XD
I absolutely loved it. The whole contrast of a happy Christmas with a slaughter was a great idea that you presented well. ^_^
