THE VIRTUE OF A WOMAN

A man needs virtues

If he wants to throw himself daringly into life,

If he wants to face the better fortune in a doubtful battle.

One virtue is enough to the woman.

It is in herself, it is lovingly obvious to the heart,

It appears lovingly to the eye, all the time!

This is cute. Simple and sweet. Nice to know that a man thinks of such things from time to time. You captured something quite special here and tinkering won't improve it as it is often in that first glance of thought that a truth is lassoed. Well done and much appreciated.

i like it the way it is actually. I'm wondering if you could elaborate on the virtues of a man as well as the virtues of a woman, probably intertwine the two to develop how the virtues of a woman could benefit and coincide with the virtues of a man. Otherwise, I do like this poem. :)

i really see little room for improvement, if any. this is a nice little write, concise and to the point, which is virtue. you've personalized it well and given it an air of depth and substance.and this is cleverly worded. good job!

I really like this poem. Its short and sweet yet powerful. Only a person who knows and have loved a woman will understand the meaning. Thanks for sharing.
