Waiting

Waiting

A Poem by Rachel E Strauch

i wait in silence
as i watch the rope above my head
and the pill bottle in my hand
and i wonder
"will even this
be enough?"
i sit
watching
patiently
for an answer
and then
it's gone

Wow!
Don’t feel sorry for me when I tell you my story.
It relates to your poem.
My Boyfriend, Best friend.
Killed him self two years ago he hung him self in the room next to me.
I often wonder what his final thoughts were.
This poem made me think about that again.
Not a bad thing.
I’m sharing your poem is well written.
Thank you for sharing it.
Resa. :)
