Magazine Girl

Magazine Girl

A Poem by Punk rocker
"

This poem is about not caring about what you look like on the outside but what is in the inside that counts.

"

Magazine girl on the cover you are.

You look like an angel with golden locks of hair.

I am here and you are there.

Compared to you I am much worse than fair.

Insacure feelings you give me why.

You tease me with your smile greater than mine.

You make me feel like an unimportant peasant girl hearding sheep and gathering rye.

Your eyes look like they have been dug out of a diamond mine.

Your lips are red

mines are pale.

My hair is led

and also stale.

I look in the mirror beyond the naked eye.

I am the beutiful one and you should be gathering rye.

"mines are pale." should be mine

This was a good poem. I enjoyed the ending of it. Nice twist
