"Destination"

Hmmm. A poem I wrote thinking about my son in the Air Force, and his passion for his music.

There are Eyes beyond the Veil,
 watching as you grow.
Passion's wall, harmonic scale,
 past the cosmic flow.
Your naive pulse is racing,
 to the finish line.
All of hell is bracing,
 for the heaven of your mind.

Constriction by human throat,
 Seraphim retire.
They had rather hear the note
 of a weakened heart on fire.
Ordered by invention,
 legions capture, still,
while Purity's Intention
 wrestles karmic will.

As lesser intelligence
 succumbs to fear unknown,
 laughter is the best defense
 as tearful rays intone.
Opalescent treasure,
 matriarchal pride,
 integrity is measured
 by motive we can't hide.

Waterfalls, the story,
 earthquakes in the sand.
Truth is cached in glory,
 crashing from your hand.
Moonlight will love you long,
 lightening, caress your soul.
Bleeding colors leading strong,
 your dreams are molten gold.
