Angel

It's about a sad story about the fall and rising of an angel... I've put a lot of emotion into it, it is inspired by a true story, and dedicated to my friend :)

Angel

A flower in its flourish,
In this world of sin.
A charming little devil,
But an angel from within...

Starting out her journey,
Wings spreading in the night.
Jumping off the highest cliff,
Starting the first flight...

She was soaring high above, Discovering new things.
But the evil wicked demons,
Broke her tiny wings...

From the heights of heaven,
To the depths of hell,
Leaving back an ashen trail,
The little angel fell...

Sitting lost and frightened,
On the steamy burning ground,
She saw the agony and heard
The horrifying sounds...

Please don't cry my angel,
Push away the fears,
Stand up, hold your head up high,
And wipe away the tears...

Climbing up the mountainside,
The exit was revealed,
She hid her pain deep in her mind,
As her wounds slowly healed.

Standing at the gates of light,
Cold blue eyes full of pride,
She leaped across the canyon,
To the other side...

The time has come for her to shine,
And overcome the pain,
Leave her past behind her,
And find a whole new way...

So please don't cry my angel,
And push away the fears,
Stand up, hold your head up high,
And wipe away the tears...

As i close my eyes,
I still see her in the night.
So beautiful and graceous,
Fading slowly, Into the light...
