My Everything

I have a gift for you.

It can be fragile and shy.

The most valuable treasure I posses.

Though small, it caries a tremendous weight.

It bares a great deal of pain.

Holds tight to joy.

Brings solace in discontent.

Gives hope in the deepest despair.

It has guided me through many challenges.

Showed me how peace can be found in tears.

Breathed possibility from tragedy.

Shaping a broken man into something strong.

With all it's done for me,

Wow. A very thoughtful one. While reading the first stanza I gussed whether that thing is your heart. I liked the end.
