a poem about listening to your soul

Listen to your heart

Ride the waves until you fall

Dive in

The water is scary, but just sit in it.

 

Feel the water cover your body.

Feel the sand in the cove.

Listen to the merfolk

 

This is not who I am

I soar through the air

I swim at the bottom of the pool,

feeling the water amidst me

 

What does your heart tell you?

Rest, exercise, rest

Sing, dance, wait

 

My heart tells me there’s hope

My heart reminds me I’m immortal

Why do we fall?

So we can pick ourselves up, even when we feel weak

 

 

Sometimes my heart feels weak and weary

Sometimes I feel strong and confident

We live and grow, simple minded folk,

grow in wisdom

Never give up

I can just say this very beautiful poem. Your lines are filled with love and compassion. I like how you bring it hope at very poetic way. This is real poetry.

I like to visit more older writing then new ones. It's can give me more perspective about progress of each poet here. I think is pity you don't get more reviews cause your writing is worth it. I know sometimes we like some writing and we don't have to response. But sometimes it's just enough to say. I really like it.
