Awaken

This was originally written as a song, like most of my poems.

There is no equal

You'll find no one else

There is no other

Than the One who saved me

From myself

He's always been here

He always will be

Watching over me

From the heavens as I sleep

 

I will awaken

To the One

Who never ends

Never begun

Majestic beauty

Perfect grace

As his beloved

I'll bring Him praise.

I will awaken.

Jesus.
