Tears

A short poem about a good cry

Tears

tears well up in my eyes

and ran down my cheeks

tears well up from my soul and poured down

to the floor

tears dried on my lips

and its saltiness embraced my tongue

tears of pain , tears of remembered pain

O' wash my soul clean

save me from this darkened cave of memory.
