PROCRASTINATION

Tick, tick says the clock,
To announce the news,
Of our stolen time.

Tick, tick says the clock
To announce the dawn,
And dusk of each day.

Tick, tick says the clock,
To record the seconds,
Minutes and hours of each day.

Tick, tick says the clock,
To remind us what we have done,
And what we are yet to do.

Tick, tick says the clock ,
To awaken us to strike now,
And procrastination forbids.

Tick, tick says the clock,
To tell or remind us rather,
That the end-time’s now.

Tick, tick says the clock
To our departure marks,
When the mighty bell rings.
Tick, tick says the clock,
Build your faith good brethren,
And ensure you no sin embrace,
Should you want to depart with Him,
Time and tide nobody waits….

An excellent observation in a resounding mantra. We put off what can be put off until it can't be put off any longer or else we say that life gets in the way of all the things we could do, should do but never take the time to. It is the nature of man, born of dust and ash with eternity in his soul.He thinks he has forever...but one day the wind will blow and dust and ash shall be no more.

Procrastination is a terrible enemy. I have entertained it many times. Great work!
