Scarecrow Joe Limb

Scarecrow Joe Limb

A Poem by renata

Down past the lane of Chamberlain,

Just left to the grove of Mr.Dover

Stands an empty farm were some say lies harm.

Children pass by in such a quick haste.

They fear the legend of

Old scarecrow Joe limb.

You hear many tales of this scarecrow Joe limb,

Of his ghastly search for children’s limbs.

Not those of the weak or those of the strong,

But only of those who have stepped on too many wrong toes.

Be silent, be still, go run for the hills.

For nothing can stop this scarecrow Joe limb.
