Seemingly Not What It Seems

Seemingly Not What It Seems

A Poem by revalatia

Living each day

               by sight unseen

While constantly pondering

                what it all means

But if things aren't always

                what they seem

Perhaps my life is lived

                 through dreams.

I agree life is lived through dreams. Hell is created when we awake from our dreams.

I'm speechless! It's so good. It's short but it is just amazing! I liked the message! Such a small but meaningful poem!

..................................

I have no words.......my voice is in my awe!!!!!!!!!

(I do have a question, though: is there a reason for the two "by"'s or is that a typo? for the musicality, which is absolutely stupendous is a tad marred by the presence of the two of them......also it's a bit redundant).

Well done!

With pleasure.
Maybe we all are but a dream, in this crazy, whacked out world we think of as ours. It's really not that surprising that so many feel this way, when we see what reality throws up at us so often. The phrase "truth is stranger than fiction" springs to mind.
Nicely captured in so few words. The thought lingers long after being read and resonates in our minds.
