Vivianese.

Vivianese.

A Poem by Cahjli Symes

Holding you in my dreams was the best I've ever seen.

As a dream was once a thought
Like the arrows that once depart.

My heart and soul was in the dark
Questioning life for what it's worth.

I was beaten and bruised and left for dead
But thinking of you calmed my dread.

The fear in my head I can't let go
As my thoughts of you always showed

Things have changed I thought you should know

I regret the words I've said to you
I was lonely and dark trapped in a faze
stifled by pain

The bane of me is living without
But life goes on within a doubt

I'd slice off my tongue just to hear you shout
And shoot all the drugs just to see you smile

You are my world
You were a friend
I'm sorry it ended
Now I pretend.

Bibi.
