Crooked Teeth/Chewed Nails

Crooked Teeth/Chewed Nails

A Poem by Cahjli Symes

I can feel you in my bones
While I'm sleeping all alone.
Feeling dizzy from the smoke
That now lingers in my lungs.

Am I tired of love
Or just caught up in my faith?
Why must they f*****g treat me
Like I'm from outer space?

As I'm feeling so misplaced,
Memories I want erased.
Cause they say they are my friends
But they love to show me hate.

Left with vomit on my plate
And I'm stuck throwing up,
Sick and tired of this jealousy
That stalks me everyday.

While these vultures stalk their prey,
I just want to go away.
I'm so drained from synthetics
That you call a human race.

Every f*****g day
All we do is kill each other.
Instead of living life,
We just make others suffer.
