Beautiful

Beautiful

A Poem by Raven Wilson

Smile, you are beautiful

Nothing compares to the fire in your eyes,

The temptation of your lips

When they curve up with the summer breeze

As they dance and sing, fresh and free

Smile, you are beautiful

The lilting notes of your tinkling laugh

"rosettes of ice, snowflakes

falling on uncovered ears

cool and gentle " break my summer daze

Smile, you are beautiful

One cannot describe the way you move

It’s like a dance to an unknown song

Sultry and swift

Practiced and smooth

Smile, you are beautiful

Are you even aware?

Who can help but to mourn the sadness on your face

For such melancholy feeling, it is an unwelcome place

Smile beautiful"

And let me see your beautiful face.
