Transfiguration

Transfiguration

A Poem by riskrapper

nimbus clouds
evoke

apparitions
of evolved

yogis sitting
lotus

deep in
states

of solitary
mindfulness

rules of
law

tales of
prophets

no longer
apply

yesterdays
pristine portraits

crumpled into
dust

compose today's
Mandala

memories
of fables

accruing
critical mass

become
nimbus clouds

The cyclical nature of all being. Beautiful.

this is mind-numbing imagistic brilliance, much of which silks over my head like the cumulus meanderings of a part-shine noon. i admire how the image is cropped in to the work itself, to the point that the work becomes multi-faceted. i still don't know how to post a picture into a poem like that. i'm twisted to shallow exposure when it comes to eastern transcendence, but i love the rhythmic couplings of this piece, and how they saunter two-steps into the peace they attempt to communicate. thank you for sharing your brilliance with me on this site.
