  All I Needed

  Thinking I needed,

  so much.

  And needed to do so much.

  Always needing and wishing,

  and hoping,

  to be enough.

  But then it was like,

  You whispered to me,

  You are precious to me,

   You matter,

   to me.

   You are my child,

   You are mine.

   I love you,

   and you really are,

   mine.

   And I realize, 

   you were enough to have,

   all along.

   And all I needed,

    was You,

    God.
