somewhat poetic prose; this is a note for my friend M. Breen who is dying to re-open his profile and post but won't owing to his silly mind :p

monsieur much ado about nothing breen,

reading or writing poetry

is not something you do

OD or BD

it's all the time

or as you irish might say

after living in the united states

for a bit

-- perpetually

so

let your fingers flutter

and create lines

uniquely yours

and stop depriving yourself

of the high

you derive 

from the business of sharing

your verse

with other lesser mortals

(such as me -- yes)

for if you haven't found

a rational reason

to quit reading posts

on this site

then it's time for you

to stop being irrational

i can honestly assure you

that if you cease to judge

the humans

who share their words

you will find

that the world is on a razor's edge

and the balancing act

becomes a bit less precarious

if one is wielding words in a certain sequence

to say something

which needs to be said

and released into the ether

the internet beckons you

with a knowing chuckle

and Jeeves is saying

"Wooster, you've got to stop pining for poems

you're not writing

and get down to the grimy buzz of writing!"
