I WILL THINK OF YOU

I WILL THINK OF YOU

A Poem by Sir Robert Robbie Lord Dudley

In Winter when snow flakes blow

as, ever, to be-still having

at one-time all our's

bringing May flowers

I will think of you
in Spring when wild roses bloom gathering up very soon
I will think of you
and when summer sun finally comes
a-kiss of breeze will ease me
I will think of you
in autumn-time when leaves fall
all will seem so gray, as, to,
the happy month of April raincoat goes over
might seem so far away
I will think of you
on the trails so very long without you
I'm so thin and my head is so heavy
you are gone and I'm alone
and still alive I will be
inside them thorns
are the midnight memory-gardens
if destination beget with ye leaves again
and let me speak
and still driving you will be
within my memories
I will think of you
I kiss good-bye sadness
on a-flower left on the dark path
remembering how it supported me
returned me a-kiss
of breeze will ease me
I will think of you
I don't wait too well although I try
if not begot within ye ever again
and let me speak
an enduring chorus of colors
supporting me and returning me
rivers of clear waters running on wild
lost in the wood
covered in blue creeping nets of light
come Springtime, sweet smells deep
I will think of you
wait, wait, we will see keeping
bulbs buried that shine here-after you
I don't know there is no telling
where i am going
I like where i am going
I'm sure enuff, i think it
on a-flower left on a path
to stretch my legs
to stretch my mind
to stretch something light before
in Winter would tightens up one cold rain
in Winter when the snow flakes blow
flowers that are out there sparkling clear
cheeks may droop
sometimes this confuses
contains connections heavy
flashes of red roses I found gone one cold Spring
I will think of you
in Spring when wild roses bloom gathering up very soon
I will think of you
