The Hindu festival.
I'm not at all against celebrating Pongal, but I ain't gonna be suckered into cleaning my house. It isn't that the house is ever really dirty; it's just that it's kinda messy. I like it that way because I know where everything is--can't go moving everything someplace different!
Anyway, Marie, I very much enjoyed your little tribute.

Well, I didn't expect anybody to have heard of this particular day, but I was in the process osending a Pongal card to a friend of mine when I realized that it was important enough to commemorate with a poem.
