AUGUST BUTTERFLIES

AUGUST BUTTERFLIES

A Poem by Marie
"

End of season...

"

Jeweled wings are ragged now

The time is almost done

Fairy angels end their lives

Dancing in the sun.

So sorry to hear that you have passed May it not be a dark night but a bright light Like yourself. May you be rocked in the arms of the Almighty to the beat of the lullaby winds. As all the souls of Heaven play a song so kind to the sound of the caroling winds. You have been a great friend to me.You have many great friends who have cried over you. May those tears fall from the heavens like notes from far flung rain to ring out the message you are loved.
Goodnight Marie.

This is a very beautiful poem, cut too short much like the life of the wonderful author. But still incredibly beautiful. It is sad, but may you rest in peace Marie.

Oh, Marie... God bless you and keep you. Your wings are full and vibrant once again. Fly high and fly in the light, my friend. Your reviews were always appreciated. Your poetry is beautiful and everlasting, as you are. God grant eternal rest onto you, dear lady...

so sad that the life of butterflies must come to an end....they are like beautiful fairies flitting about, making nature that much more beautiful.
But at least they end their lives dancing...many of us wish we could do the same.

Rest in peace Marie, its as if you knew this would be your last poem. I will miss your poems but I am glad that we can always take a peek and dive in your poetry. Rest well with the angels.

It is hard for me to comment on this poem knowing that it was Marie's last but I did on all her others so I will again, I believe that this one speaks for its self in the circle of life.

Like this butterfly, Marie, you've flown in beauty for a time, but now reside beyond the veil. We'll join you there one day, but for now, we'll remember you and enjoy your amazing works.

Their lives are so short. Beauty like that should stay much longer. Excellent poem Marie.
