Every time

Every time

A Story by Roch Ketchum

Every time we start,
a beginning as beautiful as the sunlight,
filtered by the blinds,
falling on your face,

and every time the sun sets into eternal darkness.

Every time,
we move a little bit further,
but fall a bit too far back
in the end.

Every time,
we construct a bridge,
slowly, carefully,
to diminish the distance,
but always fail to traverse the distance.

Every time,
we try to escape the darkness together,
but end up destroying a relation forever.

Every time,
we fight a little,
we cry little,
and a part of us in each other
dies a little.

Every time,
we try,
just to reminded,
of the hurricane we encountered,
the last time the last tide turned.

So let's end this once and for all,]
and meet again one day as strangers,
Maybe these two strangers will eventually fall in love,
and just say at the end,

until next time.....

Very circular and frustrating. This could be more then someone falling in love, It can be anything you try to make right but fail in the end over and over. One day you hope it will all work out only for it to fail once more. Life this poem is about life.

Second chances at love. Rarely succeed. I liked the thoughts and the journey to a hopeful end. In my lifetime. Second chances at love. Too many stones left from the memory of the last goodbye. Thank you Roch for sharing the amazing poetry.

Ya I think it would also be a good one. Thanks a lot :)
Sometimes we try to make things better but we make it worse without knowing. I liked the ups and downs in this poem, true presentation of life.
