Jenny's Ladder

Jenny's Ladder

A Poem by Rogerh
"

I fell off of Jenny's ladder

"
Jenny’s Ladder

Soft flowers blowing in the shifting breeze

Powerful pain rotating in various degrees

Berries in the dale poison to the taste

Jenny’s ladder plumbed within Grace

The dogs are barking with the sound quiet

As the cats walk along the water to riot

One wave, two wave, three wave, four

The delusional crackling entreats at my door

I slip out my window in the dead night dead

To the place underneath the final thread
