Maybe I am human

When good health plays truant...

When good health leaves my side
Like an unwilling young bride
I wait and wonder; I yearn
And patiently await her return 
From alien-pastures yonder
And these moments of desolation will long be gone
And systems may fail and resume their rotation 
What could possibly be more disastrous than
losing the insane-sanity of my miraged-mind
Not knowing where to find another being; being one of a kind
But I know I'll be back where I was and there is nothing to fear
Having survived the wrath of lashing rain, lightning and thunder

 

…Sometimes I like to think I'm human…
