this is something i wrote about how i felt when i was with my ex boyfriend in high school.

i hate crying for someone

who doesn't give a damn

a person who is shallow and bleak

lies flow like a river

when he speaks

even being afraid

is beyond his conception

who cannot give anything but deception

a vile human being i've discovered him to be

the energy i;ve wasted

what a disgrace

he doesn't even deserve

to share my space

breaking my heart time-after-time

not until now i met a human being not worth a dime

using me for pleasure i could provide

and carelessly tossing my feelings aside

all because of a man like you
