Inevitable

this was inspired by twilight

The beating of her heart quickened as he neared her,

she felt the blood rise into her once pale cheeks,

she had never felt this way before,

she stared at him for a long time,

he looked up,

she gasped,

their eyes locked,

he smiled,

she smiled,

her heart beated faster and faster,

her head became fuzzy,

until finally he was next to her.

his cheek on her cheek,

mouth by her ear,

he whispered sweet nothings to her,

she shivered as his breath tickled her.

 

His mouth went to her neck,

she gasped again,

her eyes closed,

his eyes closed,

then came a sharp pain,

her eyes flew open,

her mouth opened,

he held her close to him,

she breathed out in agony,

he still held her,

she placed her hands in his hair,

it only made him hold her tighter,

she closed her eyes,

loving this feeling,

he slowly pulled away,

the blood lining his lips,

she stared into his eyes,

he stared back,

she pulled him to her,

and kissed him for all she was worth,

he held her tight as they kissed,

because them being together was

inevitable.
