Sanity

Locked up!
Affraid to let people in,
Affraid of how they will judge the real me.
So I hide it in a dark secluded place,
No light shall go as far as to find it.

I am my own prisoner.
Never aloud to show signs of my true emotions,
Not wanting to be hurt.
So i throw away the key.

Save me!
Show me its alright to come out of the darkness.

Love me!
Love every part of me to the fullest estent.

Befriend me!
Be there when im feeling upset and out of place
Be there when i need you the most.

So many people have to put on a mask and hide themselves from the world because the fear of not having acceptance rages through them. They see how the world judges through past experience. The world shows no compassion or mercy and if just one little thing is out of place it will not measure up to their highest of standards. Great job capturing that emotion.
