Elf Melody

poem is inspired by the book eldest

she sits in the garden

playing a lullaby

singing sweet melodies

dancing through the night

to the elf melody

she calls to the birds

she whickers to the horses

she runs through the forest

to the elf melody

she calls to her sisters

she calls to her bretheren

she calls to the trees

to the animals and the wind

all joining the elf melody

she feels the air around her

jolly in the moment

the flames flicker with the wind

the elf melody is joyous

and merry in the elf colonies

join in the elf melody

I always love poems about elves magic and the like, very well done. a suggestion. in your 8th line you have ( she funs through the forest) I think you meant to say ( She runs through the forest. ) Anyway loved this poem. Thanks for sharing.

Great write. And a wonderful book for inspiration. I didn't like the eragon movie so much, but the books are all good. Anyway, I enjoyed this.
