Greetings....From Phantom Rose

I was once a withered flower
A ghost
Without any power
When my name was Dark Rose
My voice was no more than a breath
No more than a wisp
Of a cloud
A shade of my reality

 

But now I am here
With all my hopes and fears
There's to be no more tears
For I am strong
Still a rose
But now there's thorns
Delicately dangerous
The Phantom Rose

 

Haunting and strange
Nothing has changed
Still the same
Fragile ethereality
Still the same rose
But now my song
Soars with the wind
My voice is strong

 

The thin string
Between shade and shadow
Snaps when I sing
And I become something real
The symphony and aria
Feeds my strength
I cling to every note
To every octave

 

And I haunt this domain
Hidden and unseen...
But not forgotten
Concealed in the darkness
I turn from the light
I am the Phantom Rose
A rose of the night
Singing the midnight aria

 

Do not forget me
For I shall forget none
If you wander this domain
Beware
There are no roses
Without thorns
Enter if you wish it
But forget not what I have said

 

 

Enter if you wish it

Enter if you dare

Even though this isn't directed to me.. That sounded a lot like something out of Star Wars. Vaders tune... the name escapes me.

Interesting. It was a little showy but a good type of dramatic. I don't know what criticism to offer so I'll leave it that. I liked it.
