imagination

A Poem by rosemary keogh

I lay still in my sleeping bag.

Looking softy to the sky.

The stars I see around me.

They go for miles and miles.

The sky so clear behind the stars.

Stars shoot by like racing cars.

I feel im living out in mars.

My imagination dont surprise me.

As imagination fills my mind,

Pictures form within the skys.

The smiling faces of cuddly toys.

Matchstick men with silver eyes,

Smiles so big they make me smile.

Bowing their head they look refined.

My imaginations running wild.

and that just dont surprise me.

I lay chilled in my sleeping bag.

Smoking weed of every kind.

The moon is laughing at my mind

and that just dont surprise me.

This reminds me of times in a sleeping bag out in the country. But I guess I was full of beer and not smoking. But everyone else was popping acid. Not me. Imagine in the stars cld perceive us, what they wld make of us and how we are. Wld the eyes of the universe be turned upon our little patch and wld those eyes marvel out how we do imageine things? Yeah, I need a beer and a night out under the stars again. Great write cos it made me think, remember, and yearn.

Ha ha, oh wow this was interesting. It is fantastic what the mind can think when we're thinking out during the night sky. =)
The night can be filled with mysterious things.. our own imagination is what makes us entertained. ha ha ha.. i enjoyed this write of yours. Such a pleasant read!!

Firstly, love the picture - could happily having it hanging somewhere visible in my home!

You're really going for gold here, writing your heart out, feeling your words .. some nicely descriptive phrasing,

'Matchstick men with silver eyes,
Smiles so big they make me smile.
Bowing their head they look refined.
My imaginations running wild.
and that just dont surprise me.
